Here at Double Boar Ranch we work to provide the best all-around experience possible. To do this we provide the best animals we can. Our pure European animals
include the four bloodlines....Bzikot, San Diego, Kalden and Andreas lines. This allows us to have the various color phases to provide you the opportunity to have the trophy mount or rug you are looking for.

You will be hunting barrows, gilts and sows. Barrows are boars that have been castrated. This allows you to have the tastiest animal possible for your dinner table. Castration as piglets will produce a better meat for eating, as well as, allow the animals to have nicer tusks. These color phases will range from blonde through chocolate/silver to black.

  The San Diego bloodline traces back to the Black Forest of Germany and the Chechnya Republic. San Diego boars are your lighter colored boars. They range from blonde to brown colors.

  The Bzikot line can be traced back to Poland. Bzikots are predominantly black in color. They do have traces of other colors but they are mostly very dark.

The Kalden line can also be traced back to Poland and Austria. Kaldens can be darker with light highlights and tips. They are not as dark as Bzikots. However, Kaldens do have black hackles.

 Another way we provide the best for you is through our care system for our animals. They are fed a corn-soy bean mixture that is high in protein. This is done in order for maximum growth rate and size. Our stock also feed on natural mast. Our wild boars have also been tested for diseases and medicated for internal and external parasites.

All of our adult sized European swine will make a great mount for your trophy room, regardless of its gender!

We are producing a european/meat hog cross - these will be called Alleghenies. This animal is a cross of European boar with Tamworth meat hogs. These animals greatly resemble european boars, but allow a more economical hunt. These animals will be ready to hunt on a limited basis in winter 2010.
