Double Boar Ranch
Double Boar Ranch Hunting Stock

Here at Double Boar Ranch we work to provide the best all-around experience possible. To do this we provide the best animal possible. Our hunting stock consists of only European Wild Boar. We do NOT have any feral hogs on our land. We want you to hunt a wild boar, not a “farm pig gone wild.”
Our stock includes three bloodlines. These bloodlines are known as the San Diego Line, the Bzikot Line, and the Kalden Line.

Sand Diego Wild Boar
San Diego Line
The San Diego bloodline traces back to the Black Forest of Germany and the Chechnya Republic. San Diego boars are your lighter colored boars. They range from blonde to brown colors.

The Bzikot Line at Double Boar Ranch
Bzikot Line
The Bzikot line can be traced back to Poland. Bzikots are predominantly black in color. They do have traces of other colors but they are mostly very dark.

Kalden Wild Boar Line
Kalden Line
The Kalden line can also be traced back to Poland. Kaldens can be darker with light highlights and tips. They are not as dark as Bzikots. However, Kaldens do have black hackles.

Another way we provide the best for you is through our care system for our animals. They are fed a corn-soy bean mixture that is high in protein. This is done in order for maximum growth rate and size. Our stock also feed on natural mast. Our wild boars have also been vaccinated for diseases and medicated for internal and external parasites.

When you hunt at Double Boar Ranch you will be hunting boars, barrows, sows and gilts. Barrows are males that have undergone the castration process. This is done in order to maintain our wild boar population. It is also done to ensure our guide’s and, most importantly, our hunter’s safety. Aside from safety, the castration process also helps provide a tastier animal for your table. We do not want any breeding on our hunting grounds. Coming across a sow and her piglets can be a very dangerous situation. Gilt is a female hog that has not had a litter of pigs.

All of our adult sized European swine will make a great mount for your trophy room, regardless of its gender!
